During 2005-06, Accounting Circle members contributed more than -$225,000 for
scholarships, research awards, Beta Alpha Psi, research workshops, and faculty
development. The Circle helps us retain and hire outstanding faculty in a
market where competition is fierce. The Accounting Circle is the chair's most
influential advisory group, and we appreciate the expertise, commitment and
support we receive from these dedicated accounting leaders.
Accounting Circle reaches 70 members.
Accounting Circle Member gives anonymous gift of $250,000, spread out in payments of $50,000 for the next five years.
Accounting Circle adds three women, for a total of six women in the Circle.
